The Crown Building is one of the iconic buildings of New York and is called the Crown of Manhattan because of the copper roof, trimmed with gold leaf, reminiscent of a royal crown. The building is a keeper of the history of the city. It was built in 1921 and was the first high-rise building in Midtown Manhattan. The height of this historic building, which consists of two basement floors, 25 standard floors, and a roof, is 126 m. The Crown Building will be reconstructed with 26 apartments, 83 hotel rooms, a hotel lobby, a spa and pool, a sports center, restaurants, and a jazz club.
