This new residential complex was designed in collaboration with the iconic Japanese architectural firm Nikken Sekkei as part of an international competition. The highest tower spans 984 feet. The residential development will measure 10.7 million sq. ft., while the non-residential portion (including kindergarten, schools, and a clinic) will be 5 million sq. ft. When complete, the complex will include twenty skyscrapers, two art centers, a floating restaurant, covered avenues, a glass atrium, ferry and yacht piers, a central plaza, an esplanade, sports facilities, and public parks.

ACTIVATING THE EMBANKMENT
The project's concept was based on revitalizing the embankment along its entire length, which will be part of the area's development that includes parks and gardens, a marina, and a food court for the Museum of Modern Art.

CREATION OF 2 KEY AXES
Blue and green zones were created. One zone overlooks the river, while the other opens onto the central park to the north. These zones form a public square and create an invisible axis linking the park to the river.

A TRANSIT-ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT
This is a TOD project, which is designed to bring people, buildings, and public spaces together, providing walking and biking paths, and easy access to public transit. The site is connected to the metro station through the glass Grand Atrium, which is linked to the transit plaza to the north and the ferry pier to the south.
Project concept
02
The concept envisions revitalizing the entire length of the embankment, providing a variety of spaces with different characteristics. From parks and gardens, the marina and food court, to the Museum of Modern Art and theater, the embankment features elements that make use of both the land and the water. Floating stages and restaurants formalize public areas on the water, with an iconic cantilevered bridge reinforcing the public events space at the center. Kiosks and pavilions are integrated along the waterfront, supporting the lifestyles and activities of residents and visitors alike and connecting them with the river.
Master plan
03
The landmark triple towers integrate the transportation interchange hub at its heart, with an active public plaza, destination retail spaces, offices, and full-service apartments. At the base of the towers, the Grand Atrium serves as a vertical circulation node, or "Urban Core", where direct connections to all transportation modes can be made.
