The site planning addresses experiential, ecological, and operational aspects while allocating building components. The site infrastructure and the building typologies are carefully integrated with the existing topography to minimize the impact on nature and the project costs.
Project concept:
The 8 guiding principles that encapsulate the approach to the design of these unique destinations are:
• Creating diverse zones and activities for all seasons
• Maximizing views toward the volcano and mountains
• Creating a central node for compact organization
• Providing ski-in/ski-out facilities to all the hotels
• Creating centralized car parking and service areas
• Separating public and service areas by stacking one above the other
• Creating an animated central spine with retail and F&B
• Future-proofing the property for Phase II in terms of public and service connectivity
