Project description The site planning addresses experiential, ecological, and operational aspects while allocating building components. The site infrastructure and the building typologies are carefully integrated with the existing topography to minimize the impact on nature and the project costs. Panoramic views of the mountains, the ski slopes, and the climate are the primary determining factors for the locations of the resort components to enhance the guest experience. With its efficient site use, a compact master plan solution accommodates a multi-story residential development with commercial premises and social infrastructure facilities. The project was developed in collaboration with WATG Architects based on their conceptual design. Project concept: The 8 guiding principles that encapsulate the approach to the design of these unique destinations are: • Creating diverse zones and activities for all seasons • Maximizing views toward the volcano and mountains • Creating a central node for compact organization • Providing ski-in/ski-out facilities to all the hotels • Creating centralized car parking and service areas • Separating public and service areas by stacking one above the other • Creating an animated central spine with retail and F&B • Sustainable and resilient design • Future-proofing the property for Phase II in terms of public and service connectivity Services: Architectural and MEP Design Architect: WATG |
