Project description 720 West End Avenue, a new residential property located on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. The development, led by Glacier Equities and InterVest Capital Partners, transforms a 1927 Emery Roth-designed pre-war building into 131 contemporary residences. Originally built to be the Hotel Marcy, 720 West End Avenue is undergoing a complete interior redesign by Thomas Juul-Hansen and exterior restoration by BP Architects. The classic Renaissance Revival-style façade is being renovated to preserve its intricate architectural features, while two new floors are being added for penthouse duplexes with outdoor space. 720 West End Avenue will offer approximately 30,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities for its future residents, including a fitness center, a children’s playroom, a private bar and dining room, a library, co-working spaces, outdoor terraces and courtyards, and a music room. Notably, the building will also offer private parking and bike storage.
